This category encompasses variously shaped LED bulbs that are equipped with E27 or E14. Starting from the standard-sized and shaped models, through bulkier, tinted models, to small lights resembling candle fire (both by shape and light’s colour temperature). Most of them can be fitted into various popular types of lamps, as the E (or Edison) bases are one of the most common across Ireland and many other European countries. Our LED bulbs offer a wide range of light output (from 135 to 1580 Lumens) and colour temperature (CCT) - from super warm (1800 Kelvins) to ultra-cold (6000 K). The CCT is an important factor to consider when choosing lighting for many rooms - the temperature of light can have varied effects on our bodies. Warm light with orange-yellow glow makes us feel relaxed and helps us fall asleep, while bluish light stimulates focus and makes it easier to stay awake. So avoid blue light in the bedroom.
When it comes to designs, we have standard LED bulbs, vintage models with dark tinted glass, industrial-styled filament bulbs, and even some based on the original designs by Thomas Edison.
You should keep in mind that the LED filaments aren’t real filaments. Contrary to incandescent bulbs, this type of bulbs doesn’t need them - these are all just elongated diodes. Thanks to that, you can have all the benefits of LED technology (e.g. low energy consumption, almost instant full light output, staying cool to the touch) while enjoying the visuals of retro bulbs.
