Blue LED Strips
Blue is one of the most universally liked colours. Adding some blue to your lighting can boost cognitive abilities while keeping you calm and collected. A darker shade of blue can be a great option for mood lighting, but it should be used sparingly - too much blue might seem cold or even depressing. If you’re in the market for some blue lights, LED strips are an ideal choice - they’re versatile and easy to install. Blue LED strips in our offer are 12 or 24 V DC-powered lights with narrow (8 mm), flexible bodies and varying light output. They can be divided into 3 groups:

  • Standard strips with 60 LEDs/m, giving off 100 Lumens per metre
  • Standard strips with 120 LEDs/m and 200 lm/m
  • Spotless strips emitting 220 lm/m

The LED strips presented here aren’t waterproof on their own (IP20), so they aren’t meant to be used outdoors and in rooms with higher moisture levels (e.g. bathrooms). For such locations, they must be put into protective and most of all waterproof aluminium profiles. These profiles not only shield the strips from the elements, but also direct the light. They are also the way to go, if you intend to make a permanent lighting fixture.

Going back to the ease of installation, an invaluable contributor to that is an adhesive back that each LED tape has. All you have to do is remove the protective paper from the glue and press the strip against the surface. Before you do that, make sure that the surface is sufficiently smooth and doesn’t have any loose material on it.
