The colour red had many meanings, but today it’s most commonly associated with activity, heat, joy, passion, and love. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that lights utilising this colour are a frequent addition to bedrooms. But that’s not the only place where red mood lighting is prominent - it can be seen in many restaurants, clubs etc. Our offer of red LED strip lights include standard models with 2 types of diode density (60 or 120 LEDs/m) and a spotless (single, continuous of diodes along the strip’s length) model. Each of them is DC-powered, while having varying voltage - standard strips are 12 V and spotless ones are 24 V. Due to being on the dimmer side (110 to 230 Lumens per metre) they are better suited for additional light sources, rather than the main one. All of the tape lights presented here are 8 mm wide, so they can be easily fit even in very tight spots. You should keep in mind that they aren’t waterproof (IP20), so they shouldn’t be used on their own in moist rooms or outdoors. For these types of locations, they should be installed in protective and waterproof aluminium profiles.

Another important feature of LED strip lights is an adhesive back. The glue used for it is rather strong - it can last for at least a few years and can stick to most flat and smooth materials. For rough surfaces it’s better to fix them in place with the aforementioned profiles. They are also the way to go if you intend to make a permanent lighting fixture using LED light tapes.
