They are accessories that provide electrical components with effective protection from moisture, dust, unfavourable weather conditions, or sharp objects. Our products are available in several options varying in terms of the size of diameter and the width of a LED strip they are designed for:

  • a tube of a 5-mm diameter for 5-mm strips,  
  • a tube of a 7-mm diameter for 8-mm strips,
  • a tube of an 8-mm diameter for 10-mm strips,
  • a tube of a 10-mm diameter for 12-mm strips.

All the options you can find in our store are made of polyolefin that is well-known for its thermal resistance — it can withstand temperatures up to 125°C.

When a thermoplastic tube covering an object is exposed to heat, it shrinks and starts to tightly fit the object, which leads to creating a special protective layer. For this reason, placing heat shrink tubing around solder joints helps effectively protect them from a variety of external factors and therefore allows for the safe electricity flow.
