The colour temperature of 6000 K is considered as cold - it closely resembles daylight in full sun (which has 6500 K) and is mostly pure white with slight hints of blue. At LucasLED you can find LED strip lights with exactly this colour temperature - we have both 12 and 24 V options with varied light intensity. When it comes to brightness, our offer has products ranging from 580 to 2700 Lumens per metre. Our strip lights are very narrow (4-10 mm), so they can be installed even in tight spaces. All of them have IP20, which means they aren’t protected against moisture of any kind. This excludes them from being used outdoors and in rooms with high moisture levels (bathrooms, kitchens, etc.) - if you want to install them in such locations, they should be encased in waterproof profiles.

Cold white light creates an invigorating, crisp ambience, while still being easy on the eyes - with this type of lighting you can easily catch on fine details. This makes it perfect for task lighting (e.g. for home office, garage, workshop), bringing attention to specific points of interest (e.g. an art piece), or providing security at night.

LED tape lights are almost effortless to install - all of them come with a flat, adhesive back. The glue is strong enough to hold the strip in place for a few years (depending on the overall conditions in a given room) if the surface is sufficiently flat and smooth. For a more permanent lighting fixture, consider using the aforementioned profiles.
