This LED Strip RGB Ultra High Bright is a high-output, colour-changing SMD strip for decorative and feature lighting indoors, where you want punchy, saturated colour rather than a soft continuous glow. Its differentiator against the spotless COB RGB in this range is raw brightness: each 5050-type LED carries three chips, delivering 950 lm/m of colour output - noticeably brighter per metre than COB RGB, at the trade-off of visible individual diodes rather than a dotless line. Built on the PRO double PCB with 3oz copper paths and 3M 300 LSE adhesive backing.

Choose this SMD RGB Ultra High Bright strip when brightness and colour punch matter most - it puts out more lumens per metre than the COB RGB version and suits bold, visible colour effects. If you'd rather have a smooth, dotless line of colour with no visible diodes (for coves, edges and close-viewing installs), choose the spotless COB RGB instead. This is an IP20 strip for dry indoor use only - if the install will face moisture (bathroom, kitchen splash zone, or outdoors), choose a waterproof IP66 strip instead.
This strip runs on a dedicated 24V DC power supply and cannot be connected directly to mains voltage. As a colour-changing strip it also needs an RGB controller to switch and mix colours. For a 1m length, plan for a power supply of 26W or higher (strip wattage plus roughly 20% headroom); size the driver up for longer runs. The strip can be trimmed every 50mm at the marked cut points, and mounts via its 3M adhesive back or inside an aluminium profile for better heat dissipation on continuous runs.
Yes. RGB colour changing requires an RGB controller between the power supply and the strip — without it you can't switch or mix colours.
Yes, per metre. This SMD version puts out more lumens, but you'll see individual diodes; COB RGB is dimmer per metre but gives a smooth, dotless line.
No. IP20 has no protection against moisture or splashes. For a bathroom, kitchen splash zone or outdoor use, choose a waterproof IP66 strip instead.
Every 50mm, at the marked cut points — trimming there won't damage the rest of the strip.
